Youth Sailing

kssintro

NMHF's Youth Sailing Programs include Kids Set Sail, High School Racing, After School Learn to Sail and our Schooner Education program. Our goal is to teach young people the skills they will need to be successful sailors, the educational components behind the how the boat functions and lifetime skills such as teamwork, decision-making and respect for our environment. Sailing involves learning skills that are used on and off the water and Kids Set Sail instills these lessons that last a lifetime.

Kids Set Sail is a summer day camp that takes place during the months of June through August for ages 8-14

High School Racing is for sailors with previous dingy racing experience, which will prepare sailors for competition against other schools.

Learn to Sail is an after-school sailing instructional course designed for beginners or someone with a limited amount of sailing experience.
